I hope everyone is preparing for a good weekend. I can’t go out this weekend because I need to study for exams, but at least my one little break is a dance rehearsal in a couple hours. This song gets me ready to dance.

TGIF Playlist

I think I like some Top 40 music for two reasons:

  • They are generally really catchy and have a good beat, and I love dancing and many of the other genres I like aren’t great for dancing to.
  • I like the feeling of togetherness. Since most people know these songs, it’s fun to jam along to them with friends and strangers.

I listen to Top 40 way more on Fridays. It helps me get pumped up for a party scene that I don’t always like, but always aspire to because I want a reason to find a place to dance. 

So anyway, here’s a playlist I found on YouTube that pretty much embodies that. Happy Friday everyone!
