This blog has now merged with my personal one

Oh dear. I just finished listening to Rascal Flatts’ new album, and have already heard Keith Urban’s. I am supposed to write an article on them for the paper, but really there is little to say. The albums sound exactly the same as everything else they have made. That’s not always a bad thing, I suppose, but these albums really did not jump out at me at all. They’re just too typical and there is little to get excited about. I suppose I’ll write about that; but hopefully it’ll make the 300 word count.

What is the world coming to?

I’ve been a Blogger girl for quite a while now, I’ve even made about $12 on my food blog. Boy was I missing out on a bunch of great templates.

But this is less about trying to get as many hits as possible and becoming world famous, it’s basically to fulfill my inherent desire to talk about music constantly in my life. A lot of the times people don’t care. Maybe this be read by people who do.

This is also great practice for my fantastical dream to get paid to talk about music. I honestly can’t think of a better profession than to make money from going to concerts. I’ve gotten a little taste of it working for the UMass Daily Collegian, and now I can’t get enough of that idea. Maybe someday a future employer will be like oh hey I need some writing samples and I can be like well there are these concert reviews I’ve done AND ALSO MY AWESOME BLOG. Wishful thinking.

Let’s start off this blog with some free music, eh? Best part: it’s legal.

I’m in the midst of writing a review for it; either to send in to the Collegian or just throw up here. Either way you’ll get to see it.
